I know it’s an unpopular opinion for a reason, but I can’t help be like Nurse Ratched. Now before you go thinking I’m a crazy psycho bitch let me explain especially for those of you who have only seen the movie of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. While the basic plot of both the movie and book are similar, the book and movie have very different feels due to the different point of views. The movie was from a narrators while the book was through Chief’s. Now with a narrator it does seem like the people in the ward are not crazy but in the book it’s told through the mind of someone with schizophrenia. Chief is crazy. There’s no denying it in the book. Read the first chapter if you haven’t already. Chief is there for a reason, maybe not the other people in the ward be we don’t know if they are or not. They’re seen through Chief’s POV and how are we to know if that’s reality or not. The other patients could be just as crazy or they could not exist all together. He hallucinates in the beginning who’s to say this isn’t all one big hallucination. Now back to Nurse Ratched, in the book I felt bad for her. While every one in my class was calling her a bitch and cursing the establishment I truly felt for her. She was trying to create order in the chaos and she was just trying to do her job. Yeah she was a bitch, but she was doing her job, and sometimes your job requires you to be strict. Everything chief says about her is through the eyes of some one with a serious mental disorder she could be a totally nice person outside of the ward. And every cruel move she makes could be the imagination of an extremely paranoid man. I don’t know if this is a strong argument and I certainly don’t think I’ll find many who agree with me. But please next time you read “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” think about what I said, and if you haven’t read the book you should, it’s a good book and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Where?!
Seconded. Somebody send me this blog’s URL because it sounds like the most perfect thing.

So with the new pokemon black and white 2 but I just thought of something. What if you play as N? Like the orginal black and white only you play the story in N’s point of view. It would be interesting to see the entire rivals story. People would so buy it.
So today’s the beginning of lent, and like every year I completely forget until the day before when my mom reminds. Then I spend the rest of my Fat Tuesday trying to think of something to give up. But this year I decided to do something different for lent. I remember a priest once saying that instead of giving something up we could do something to make the lives of people around us better while giving thanks to God. So I got an idea. I always come up with ideas but am to lazy to draw them or finish the ones I start. So for every day of lent I must do one drawing because what better motivation is there than God. And so I don’t become totally lazy I came up with rules.
Rules for lent drawings:
-must be actual drawing not just doodle in my note book.
-must be at least the size of a normal piece of paper.
-can me any medium including photography.
-can me sketches and character reference sheets as long I spend time on them and don’t do them during class.
-Sundays are not included in the 40 days of lent (I know I counted to make sure) so I can be lazy and either not draw anything or work on my zodiac project since their smaller then a page.
-Has to include some kind of reference to God. I mean it is Lent.
I actually finished the first one just now. I tried a new art style and it didn’t go so good. Oh well.
